Year-Round Programming
As Virginia’s only design museum, The Branch offers year-round programming that invites visitors to experience design in ways that feel engaging and social. Marquee series like Live at The Branch transform our historic Great Hall into a living room for music and conversation, while Maker’s Studio invites participants to learn directly from artists and designers through hands-on making. Each spring, the Mad Hatter Art & Design Auction brings art and fashion together while supporting the museum’s exhibitions and the care of its historic home.
Throughout the year, The Branch also hosts artist talks, exhibition openings, open houses, holiday events, and special programs that create opportunities to gather and connect. Together, these experiences reflect our belief that design is not only something to admire, but something to do.
